Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer 

The Role

• Complete preventative maintenance plan (PPM) to ensure optimal equipment reliability
• Respond swiftly to production-line breakdowns and restore production operations efficiently
• Working with all departments to ensure a safe working environment that will maximise production through minimising machine downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed, ensuring all equipment is safe and compliant with relevant legislation and standards.
• Proactively support continuous improvement programmes
• Ensure all maintenance work is precisely detailed on our maintenance system for full equipment history.
• Complete work within agreed timescales.
• Work safely in line with recognised codes & practices.
• Participate in identifying & executing continuous improvement activities to improve performance.
  

Experience Required

• Must hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ previous experience working as an engineer, ideally within a production environment.
• Possess strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Have a “can-do” attitude
• Good communication skills, able to work as part of a team.
